Bellevue Firefighter's Community Support Foundation
On September 16, 1999, members of the Bellevue Fire Department organized The Bellevue Firefighters Community Support Foundation. This non-profit organization has the following missions:
- Provide relief to needy segments of society suffering from poverty, hunger, homelessness, and like calamity deserving of charity.
- Provide relief for persons injured or made homeless by fire.
- Assist the community served by Bellevue Firefighters.
- Conduct and support research into issues pertinent to firefighting.
- Provide education and pertinent training regarding public safety to the general public.
- Promote the general welfare of firefighters, their families, and the public at large.
All donations to the firefighter’s foundation are tax-deductible and have supported programs for youth and families in need such as Youth Eastside Services, Hopelink, Second Chance and Post Fire Relief for people adversely affected by a fire by providing food, shelter, clothing and other assistance.
I am proud to have donated over $25,000 to this organization over the past several years (BFCSF Donations)
